To show appreciation and usher in the unofficial start of Fall, all Soltesz employees have been gifted custom embroidered messenger bags for their use and enjoyment.

Soltesz exhibited at the annual Maryland Association of Counties (MACo) Summer Conference in Ocean City, Maryland. The conference provided the opportunity for Soltesz to showcase the firm’s work throughout the state.

Soltesz and its employees have contributed to relief efforts in response to the dire needs of the victims of the devastating fire at the Flower Branch Apartments in Silver Spring.

Ken Dunn, Managing Manager of Soltesz’s Lanham office, provided remarks at the retirement dinner for Dr. Fern Piret, Director of Planning at the Prince George’s County Planning Department.

Soltesz’s Rockville office recently welcomed new employees with an introductory lunch, having expanded its staff to include a number of recent college graduates for engineering and landscape architecture roles.

Soltesz has been selected as the lead civil engineer for the new Leonardtown Library and Garvey Senior Activity Center, a highly anticipated 48,000 SF project in St. Mary's County.

Soltesz has had wonderful participation this year from college students in the firm’s Internship Program, attracting civil engineering students from colleges throughout the Mid-Atlantic.

As part of Soltesz’s ongoing commitment to professional development for its employees, the firm recently sponsored a class on building executive presence and developing impromptu speaking strategies.

Jim Gotsch, Associate of Soltesz’s Leonardtown office, has been selected to join the Leadership Southern Maryland’s Executive Program, a service-oriented mentoring program for public leaders.
