Soltesz recently attended the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the new Public Safety Training Academy campus, an array of buildings totaling 185,000 GSF at the new Montgomery County Multi-Agency Service Park (MASP). Soltesz is the civil engineer for this project, which includes an Academic Building, numerous training buildings, an apparatus building, and a fuel facility.

Soltesz is proud to have worked on the $66 million, 138,000 square-foot Transient Wounded Warrior Lodge at Walter Reed, which was recently selected as a Grand Award winner at the 2015 Engineering Excellence Awards, sponsored by the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of Virginia.

Soltesz, Inc. is very pleased to share in the celebrations of the Stone Ridge community's “grand opening” of their new turf field. It gives us great pleasure to see the students, faculty, and staff along with parents and alumni very gratified with the newest facility at the Stone Ridge campus.

We are pleased to announce that Robert Fernandez, PE has recently joined the firm in our Lanham office as a Senior Project Manager, based out of our Lanham office.

Soltesz is proud to have served as the civil engineer for the newly-opened Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) Food and Nutrition Center, which is part of the multi-phased, 131-acre Montgomery County Multi-Agency Service Park (MASP) in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The County recently hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of the 77,000 square-foot facility, which includes warehouse and administrative space a well as an adjacent four-level parking garage.

Soltesz Vice President and General Manager, Ken Dunn, was invited to speak at the Prince George’s County Council’s Annual Retreat regarding the building industry’s outlook on economic development in the county over the next five years.

Soltesz is pleased to announce the promotion of Ankur Patel, PE to the position of Associate in the firm's Rockville office.

The Maryland Building Industry Association (MBIA) recently released a statement regarding the Municipal Zoning Authority bill as presented to the Prince George's County Delegation to the Maryland General Assembly, of which Soltesz Vice President and General Manager, Ken Dunn, testified.

Soltesz recently provided an extensive seminar to 50 staff members, addressing American with Disabilities Act (ADA) design and construction requirements. This educational session was offered as part of the firm’s Employee Enrichment Program, which includes computer training, professional development training, and project management training.

We are pleased to announce that JL Fisher, PLA, has recently joined Soltesz as a Senior Landscape Architect in our Rockville office. JL brings over 20 years of experience in land development planning and design for public and private sector clients.
