This year’s conference focused on the theme, “Winds of Change.” It invited Maryland leaders to dive deeply into the programs, initiatives, and solutions that promise to propel Maryland forward as industry and thought leaders in digital revolution, public safety, and government and constituent services. The conference focused on harnessing that momentum for the good of all Marylanders. As proponents of both community service and resourceful design via civil, environmental, and landscape engineering, Soltesz participated enthusiastically in discussions surrounding solar and wind power, stormwater management, public school design, and civil design in Maryland.Maryland Governor Larry Hogan stopped by our booth to say hello and is pictured with Jim Soltesz, President & CEO, and Ed Carroll, VP & General Manager of the Soltesz Southern Maryland offices. While this conference covered serious topics about the future of Maryland, we had a lot of fun connecting with Maryland leaders at the event. Exhibitor booths were encouraged to decorate with and dress up as Super Heroes to engage with their audiences. Soltesz joined in the festivities with superhero giveaways and photo booth props. Our winner for the noise-canceling headphones has opted to keep their name private, but congrats to our winner! We look forward to attending next year’s conference.
