Soltesz staff attends ribbon cutting ceremony in Gaithersburg

Members of Soltesz staff who participated in the Montgomery County Public Safety Training Academy project attended the recent ribbon cutting ceremony at the new facility in Gaithersburg.The new Public Safety Training Academy (PSTA) is located at 8751 Snouffer School Road in Gaithersburg and is part of the Montgomery County Multi Agency Service Park (MASP). The opening of the PSTA marks the completion of the eighth project in Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett's Smart Growth Initiative (SGI).The new PSTA will house the specialized training programs for all new law enforcement officers hired by Montgomery County's Department of Police and Office of the Sheriff, Rockville City Police, Gaithersburg Police, Takoma Park Policy, Chevy Chase Village, Maryland-National Park Police, Montgomery County and the Office of the Fire Marshall. The Montgomery County Police Canine Unit will also train at the campus.

Jim has served on several committees addressing transportation, infrastructure financing, and permit streamlining. He is a Life Director of the Maryland Building Industry Association (MBIA) and a trusted advisor to both public and private sector leaders.
