Prince George’s County Department of Environmental Resources Indefinite Delivery Contract

Prince George’s County contracted with Soltesz and their partner, to perform services relative to design development, planning, construction management, and implementation of environmental projects and programs. Structured as an indefinite delivery contract (IDC), Soltesz formed a joint-venture (JV) with Prime Engineering to address these needs of the County. Projects under the IDC include stormwater drainage improvements, urban stormwater quality improvement, corrective flooding and erosion projects, environmental studies, stream restoration, watershed planning, and municipal infrastructure reconstruction. Often times, the systems included in a task order pose many complications and are difficult to find because of access issues or other property ownership concerns. Because these drainage concerns are frequently brought to DER’s attention by District Councilmembers, an undue amount of pressure exists on the design of a normally nominal project.
