Oxon Hill, Maryland – Soltesz is part of the team led by Peterson Companies and Top Golf to deliver the first Top Golf facility to be built in Maryland located at 6400 Oxon Hill Road. Soltesz is responsible for land use, planning, entitlements, and civil engineering and has helped the team achieve project goals for both budget and timing. The permit was delivered in an expedited manner, working closely with Top Golf and State and local agencies. The project combines a 3-story golf driving range which will boast 102 bays along with several restaurants and bars. The facility is on track to open in 2019.

“Soltesz is proud of our continued relationship with the Peterson Companies and to play a part in bringing this high-tech golf range facility to Maryland” said Jim Soltesz, President and CEO of Soltesz.

Soltesz brings a deep and rich history with the Peterson Companies having been the primary civil engineer for the National Harbor development, and several other projects on the site. “Soltesz played a critical role to help this team, specifically Jim Soltesz and Ken Dunn, who worked closely with Prince Georges County to make this happen in record time” said Taylor Chess, President, Development of Peterson Companies.

Soltesz was in attendance at the groundbreaking on June 21, 2018 along with County Executive Rushern Baker, Council Member Obie Patterson, and representatives from National Harbor, and the development team.
